Riflemind theatre tickets, Trafalgar Studios, London

Twenty years after their frontman, John, walked off stage for good, the iconic rock band Riflemind are set to get together again. For John (John Hannah), a reunion might be his second chance; for his wife Lynn (Susan Prior), it could be the end of the world as she knows it … As the band descends upon John's country manor, one weekend fast becomes the ultimate test of talent, friendship and loyalty.
 
Co-Artistic Director of Labyrinth Theatre Company, Philip Seymour Hoffman (Charlie Wilson's War, Capote, previously directed Jesus Hopped the A-train in the West End) directs the London and European premiere of Andrew Upton's darkly comic and explosive new play, in this first collaboration between Sydney Theatre Company (Artistic Directors Andrew Upton and Cate Blanchett) and Trafalgar Studios.
 
The play was originally produced by Sydney Theatre Company in 2007 in Australia under Mr Hoffman's direction.

Celebrated stage and screen actor Robert Bathurst (Cold Feet, Whipping it Up) returns once again to bring Britain’s favorite cartoon City-slicker to three-dimensional life.

With the economy in freefall and the credit crunch biting down hard on financial dinosaurs like ALEX, is it time to get out of the square mile? And if so how on earth will Alex cope outside his natural habitat?? Cinderella is the story of a young woman living with her stepmother, and two very mean stepsisters. She works as a servant for them cooking, cleaning, and catering to their every need.

When the Prince of the land sends out invitations to all of the villagers to attend a ball held in his honour, Cinderella begs to go but her stepmother will not allow her.

The night of the ball arrives, and the three women laugh as they prepare for the party, and make their way to the festivities, leaving Cinders to clean up after them. Once they are gone, Cinderella quietly weeps wishing she could attend. At that moment her Fairy Godmother appears, and uses her magic to grant Cinderella’s wish, creating for her a beautiful gown, matching glass slippers, and turns a pumpkin into a carriage to take her to the ball. The Fairy Godmother has one condition, that the spell will only last until midnight…
